“... I was twelve years old when I discovered painting. Almost by chance! I t was during the summer holidays, that I was seized by the image of a painter in front of his chair, at the beach. I became obsessed with this image. It would not leave my thoughts. Finally, I took a pencil and drew, with all the passion in youthful heart; everything that I had seen in my mind. I began to make my first portraits soon afterwards. Initially with charcoal, then with pastels, eventually I turned to oil-based paints. Althought I have had little training in art, I was very attracted by the vision of the Naive and Primitive styles. Today, my portraits still keep this frankness of spirit. I hope with each painting to capture with my paints those rare moments in live. Recently, I have devoted myself to airbrush painting (aerography). I hope that you will take as much pleasure in my works as I have had in creating them....”
